My mother translated this. From a review in La Liberation. I will post the original too.
Serafina Steer It appears that she likes to play hopscotch - her music is like perfectly formed little stones - here a harp, at which she excels and there a violin - lightly scatters many ideas that that suggest a way from earth to heaven. Her Change is Good, Change is Good is one of those albums, her second, unfairly dropped from the catalogue in 2010. Leaving aside her quest for the Perfect Blue, she has found several promising openings in electro low-fi. Dancing poetically between mystical lyricism and minimalist pop, this 28 year old Londoner is determined not to come across as insipid. She draws on electronics to spice her stripped down melodies; and with refined arrangements and a very beautiful voice, she floats between air and water. Serafina Steer distils a private and delicate world in a series of graceful flights. It is not surprising that she has toured with Patrick Wolf and Anthony and the Johnsons. Voila` Steer: a space to draw breath far from the fury of the world.
